Open Door

Open Door addresses the lack of resources for theatre educators' professional development and recognition. The project aims to fill a critical gap in the continuing education of theatre educators, who currently lack adequate resources for their professional development.

Théâtre Les Tanneurs
Since its foundation, the Théâtre Les Tanneurs – Maison d’artistes & Fabrique de théâtre – is dedicated to contemporary theatre and dance productions. In September 2019, the theatre launched a new project under Alexandre Caputo’s artistic direction. Creation and innovation, research, support for artists, civic engagement, international exposure, and the social life of the Marolles neighbourhood are the core priorities of the Théâtre Les Tanneurs.

The theatre provides artists and creators with the possibility of projecting their work in the long term. At present, ten artists, playwrights and companies are associated with the theatre. Les Tanneurs supports their work by producing or co-producing their shows. These artists “live” in the theatre and have their own offices, just like the 30 or so artists and cultural professionals who use the coworking space on the fourth floor of our building.
